Woman Impaled by Tree
An Idaho woman was impaled by a tree while on a recreational drive with her husband.
Michelle Childers explains that while on her drive, a tree limb broke through the passenger side window. Childers says she then felt a “strange” pressure in her shoulder and neck. Michelle’s husband, Daniel, told her she had been impaled by the tree.
Childers was impaled by a 19-inch tree limb which was removed during a six-hour surgery. Michelle is expected to make a full recovery.
